Apple's dream is over...

Today is the annoucement day of the new iPhone. We were expecting for a completely redesigned iPhone, we were wrong. Like the transition between iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, this year, Apple decided again to announce an upgraded version of the iPhone 4, the iPhone 4S!

The most significant changes, which were done are:

• Dual-core A5 processor (same as iPad 2)
• 8MP camera
• 1080p video recording
• Better network performance
• Voice recognition feature
• Improved battery life

If you compare new iPhone 4S to Samsung Galaxy SII, you won't see many differences... execpt that Samsung Galaxy SII is already on the market for few months!

Apple's dream is over... while the new iOS 5 is a bunch of Android features (Notification management + bar, voice recognition, OTA, iCloud, etc.), the last few months, we only heart about Apple concerning legal complaints against Google, Samsung, HTC, etc... These legal fights don't help anyone and especially any progress in technologies. Apple has stopped innovating, he started to do like any other competitors: grab some nice features from other solution to incorporate in their own solution. 

So yes, Apple's dream is over. In my opinion, Apple has become a standard company, which indeed creates very good products but not amazing products as it was the case when the 1st iPhone was launched. Today, I place in Google and Microsoft my biggest hope to see the next important innovation in mobile sector more than just an upgraded version of an existing mobile device...
